How it works

What problem does EHCP+ solve?

Drafting EHCPs is highly skilled, time-consuming work. When teams are under pressure, consistency and timeliness suffer. EHCP+ reduces the time spent on initial drafting by hours, freeing practitioners to focus on families and provision decisions.

How does it work in practice?

You upload source reports and assessments. EHCP+ securely processes them, extracts evidence, and produces a structured draft plan across Sections A–K. An evaluator loops 3 times to check quality before presenting the output to you.

Does EHCP+ make decisions about children?

No. EHCP+ organises what the evidence says. It does not assess need or determine eligibility. Every decision remains firmly with the SEND professional and the Local Authority.

How do we know the draft is accurate?

EHCP+ uses an Evidence-First architecture. It doesn't write from memory; it identifies and tags specific quotes from your uploaded reports before drafting a single word. Every statement is linked to a source citation, making verification instant.

What about “AI Hallucinations”?

Generic AI can invent information, but EHCP+ is grounded in your uploaded documents. By requiring every section to be evidence-backed, the risk of inaccuracy is minimised. However, professional review is always mandatory.

Can I edit the plan after it's generated?

Absolutely. EHCP+ provides a draft, not a final document. You have full editorial control to rewrite, expand, or restructure any part of the plan to match your professional voice.

Data & Compliance

Is the data secure?

Yes. Identifiers like names are scrubbed locally and replaced with anonymous tokens. Data is stored in encrypted UK-based cloud silos. We never use your data to train AI models.

Is it aligned with the SEND Code of Practice

Yes. The system's structure and evaluation criteria are specifically mapped to Sections A–K and the Children and Families Act 2014.

Who is legally responsible for the final plan?

Legal responsibility remains entirely with the Local Authority. EHCP+ is a supportive drafting tool, much like a template or a research assistant—the final sign-off is human.
